All in the name of liberation?
Imagine the scenario.
I own a convenience store. One evening whilst minding my own business serving some little old lady, a man walks in with a gun, and says “give me all of your money” whilst knocking back on the five fingered discount of liquor he has just so kindly taken from MY shop. Upon me emptying MY till, all of which I never asked him to do, never wanted him to do, he gets momentarily distracted. I notice this lapse of concentration, turn, grab my baseball bat and in an attempt to protect MYSELF and the little old lady’s life, I swing like their is no tomorrow. I connect.
The intruder suffers severe breaks to his body, he is rendered unconcious.
Now some years later, once again whilst minding my own business, he decides that his hideous attempt to steal from me warrants me to suffer more anguish by suing for “forever lasting anguish and loss of earnings” and that “I need to pay for something which was never MY original choice to be part of”
Do you see where I am going with this?
The other day Sean Hannity (a self proclaimed conservative broadcaster on the Sean Hannity show) disclaimed on Fox News that “the U.S. can go into Iraq, Kuwait and take all of their oil”. The full article can be found here.
All of this for services rendered in the “liberation” of Iraq.
